dc.description.abstract |
Education, training and information is one of the seven principles of co-operation that is
observed worldwide, but quite neglected and marginally treated in the budgets of co-operative
organizations, especially in Africa. As a principle, education and training means the
improvement of understanding (education) and skills development (training) by providing
access to general knowledge, teaching values and norms of behaviour as a basis for further
education and the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge in terms of vocational
training (Munkner, 1995). |
