A Comparative Analysis of Regional Press Clubs’ Performance in Tanzania

Abstract

This is a comparative study of the performance of the Regional Press Clubs in Tanzania with specific reference to the Arusha Press Club (APC), Media Club of Kilimanjaro (MECKI) and Mwanza Press Club (MPC). The first Chapter gives an introductive overview about the study carried out. It is divided into seven sections. The sections are the historical background, the statement of the problem and the scope scope of the study. Other sections are on objectives of the study, research questions, significance of the study and the study limitations. Besides, Chapter Two focuses at revealing diverse literature materials relevant to the study. The presentation is made in relation to the problem earlier stated and linked to the research objectives. The aim was to establish the cap. for instance. areas not addressed by studies conducted before. This third Chapter is on the Research Methodology and findings. It presents the methods and procedures employed in the study. The Chapter gives the sampling design, the data collection and the data analysis techniques detailing plan for data analysis after being collected from the study area. Finally, the Chapter presents the research findings. This fourth Chapter is on Research results and Discussion. The presentation of research results is done in relation to the research problem and the research objectives earlier outlined. Results presented are subject to critical analysis basing on stated research questions. Finally, Chapter Five is on Conclusions and Recommendations.
